Lawrence Central (5-1) will host Southport at its homecoming game in the newly renovated stadium at 7 p.m. Oct. 3.
Students will attend a 2 p.m. pep session, and a tailgate party open to the public will begin at 5 p.m.
Homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime. King candidates are seniors Blake Cook, Taylor Marshall, Andrew Ruggles, Zack Saunders, Colin Van Wye and Kyle Yamafuji. Queen candidates are Amanda Bowman, Diana Cardenas, Ambor Graves, Emily Krauter, Page Thomas and Shatara Williams.
