Students at Crestview Elementary School are launching a "Kids Helping Kids"‚`food drive to benefit Gleaner's Food Bank. Sponsored by the CV News, the school's student-run newspaper, the food drive will provide Gleaner's with easy-to-fix foods which children can prepare themselves on the weekends. Some ideas for donation include macaroni and cheese, soups, canned fruits and vegetables, and 100% fruit juices. Donations can be brought to the school between November 1-16. Crestview is located at 7600 E. 71st Street.
